When you're approached by your favourite architects and they say "Hey, we have a bit of a strange project, and we think you're the only ones capable of building it".
The answer is Yes!, and it doesn't matter what the project is.

We truly have the most fun on the projects that require a bit of design, a lot of CAD, a huge helping of fabrication and a dash of inventiveness.
And this one certainly hit the mark.

After our initial client briefing we dove head first into a lengthy concept and design process which resulted in the designs for the spire which would eventually be built. Several COVID lockdowns later we finally had the completed spire ready for install.
There was a lot of sleepless nights wondering/worrying about how to get the full spire onto the building in one piece.
In the end we had some scaffolding errected and the spire was lifted into place with a small team of dedicated spire enthusiasts.

We're so proud of the finished results on this project, and we all get a great kick out of it when we see the lit spire illuminating the skyline of Wellington.
